The Easiest Guacamole (Vegan + GF)
Not sure about you, but I strongly believe guacamole should never cost extra.
When it comes down to it, guac is a simple recipe consisting of a few basic ingredients like onion, avocado, and other herbs and spices - nothing fancy, just a few simple plant ingredients that we all often have at our disposal.
So tell me - why on earth does it always seem to cost a few bucks extra at any given restaurant?
I’m here to show y’all how easy this coveted food is, and how you can make it at home and eat as much as you want for no extra charge.
Not only that, but this recipe is amazing to add to more than just chips and veggies; I love adding it to some pasta and veggies for lunch, or maybe to a potato salad - there are so many possibilities, and you really can’t go wrong!
So buckle up and start chopping that onion.
The Easiest Guacamole
2 ripe avocados
1/2 red onion - chopped
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
1/3 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
1/2 lime - juiced
In a bowl, mash up your avocados. Fold in the remaining ingredients - and that’s it! Just make sure you finely chop your onion, as well as the cilantro and tomatoes so that you don’t have huge chunks in your guac. Super simple!
