Iced Hemp Hot Chocolate Latte (Vegan + GF)

Iced Hemp Hot Chocolate Latte (Vegan + GF)

Hiya folks! The weather here in North Carolina has been blistering hot for the past month or two, and I honestly cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. This is my first year experiencing the Summer down here in full, and all I can say is that I am not equipped for this type of smoldering heat.

So, with that being said, I’ve been itching to make an iced latte recipe that will quench this never-ending dry heat, as well as my ever-growing sweet tooth.

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with one of my favorite brands, Ripple, to bring you this extra creamy latte! I’ve been working with them for years now, and I’ve always loved the products they’ve come up with. In this recipe, I’m using their new Barista Style milk, which is the perfect addition to any cold or hot latte you make at home. Starbucks is quaking in their boots.

This recipe is also in collaboration with Cured Nutrition - a brand that I am just getting to know, and have already fallen in love with. They have a series of products that are all infused with raw CBD to ensure the health and happiness of those who shop with them. I’ve used both their hemp oil and chocolate peanut butter powder in this latte for not only a kick-ass flavor, but an added bonus of naturally occurring regulation and wellness.

Oh, and it’s so easy, you’ll have it made in under five minutes.

Iced Hemp Hot Chocolate Latte

INGREDIENTS:

1/3 cup hot water

1 Tbsp Cured Chocolate PB spice

1 Tbsp cacao powder

1 serving size Cured Hemp Oil

1 cup Ripple Barista Style Milk

1 Tbsp maple syrup

Ice

INSTRUCTIONS:

Place your chocolate pb powder and cacao powder into a mug. Bring your water to a boil and pour into the mug, allowing it to sit for about 5 minutes. If you would like the mixture to cool a bit, that is fine as well - I allowed mine to sit for about ten minutes. Put your drop of CBD oil into the mixture. Then, fill up a glass with ice and pour your chocolate mixture over it, adding in the maple syrup and then finally your milk.

Here is the (gorgeously packaged) raw hemp oil from Cured that I used - it is not only effective, but it is sold in it’s purest form!

Just add a drop into your latte for added benefits - whether it be for anxiety, or pain relief, hemp oil has a number of benefits for various dilemmas!

I used a mixture of cacao powder and the Cured Peanut Butter Chocolate powder because I just found it to have the perfect blend of sweet and dark chocolate. The spice itself has a bit of sugar as well as a touch of hemp extract.

The recipe itself takes a few steps, but is super easy to whip up and you end up with a creamy hot chocolate that is ideal for the Summer. I have used the Ripple Barista Style milk for a number of lattes now (especially Matcha - it’s the best!) and it has worked like a charm; it makes the creamiest drinks!
